  • 1 cup chicken breast (bite-size pieces) Cut into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  • 1 cup cooked white rice Serve the chicken over this.
Sauce Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour Mixed with water to create a slurry.
  • 2 tbsp water Used to make cornflour slurry.
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat a pan and cook the chicken until golden.
  2. Add soy sauce, honey, and mirin, then mix well.
  3. Pour in the cornflour slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add sesame oil and sesame seeds, then mix.
  5. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
