Ingredients
  

Dough and Sauce
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or fresh dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce plus extra for dipping
Filling and Topping
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fillings: Pepperoni, sausage, or veggies Choose your favorite fillings
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Roll out the dough and cut it into 4 equal pieces.
  3. Add a little sauce, cheese, and your chosen fillings to one half of each piece.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges down with a fork to seal them tight.
Baking
  1. Mix the melted butter, garlic, and parsley together and brush it generously over the tops of the calzones.
  2. Bake for 20–25 minutes until they are golden brown.

Notes

Serve Pizza Calzones warm, alongside extra pizza sauce for dipping. They can be a main dish or a tasty snack. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
