Ingredients
  

For Garlic Butter Jumbo Shrimp
  • 500 g jumbo shrimp (peeled & deveined) Fresh or thawed
  • 50 g butter For cooking
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) Adds flavor
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped) For garnish and flavor
  • Salt & black pepper To taste
For Japanese Tempura Jumbo Shrimp
  • 100 g tempura flour For batter
  • 160 ml cold water For mixing with flour
  • Oil for frying Ensure oil is at the right temperature
For Panko Fried Jumbo Shrimp
  • 100 g flour For coating
  • 2 eggs beaten For coating
  • 150 g panko breadcrumbs For coating
For Louisiana Style Jumbo Shrimp
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For cooking
  • 1 tbsp paprika For seasoning
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper For heat
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder For seasoning

Method
 

Garlic Butter Jumbo Shrimp
  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, then finish with chopped parsley and serve.
Japanese Tempura Jumbo Shrimp
  1. In a bowl, mix tempura flour with cold water to make a light batter, being careful not to overmix.
  2. Heat oil to 170–180°C (340–355°F).
  3. Dip the shrimp in the batter, then fry for 2-3 minutes until light golden.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve.
Panko Fried Jumbo Shrimp
  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat each shrimp in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry until golden and crispy.
  4. Drain and serve.
Louisiana Style Jumbo Shrimp
  1. In a bowl, mix shrimp with spices and olive oil.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Serve hot with extra seasoning if desired.
