Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs

A delicious twist on traditional burgers, these Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are cheesy, garlicky bites wrapped in flaky biscuit dough, perfect for a quick dinner or a fun snack.

Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 500 g ground beef (80/20 preferred) Approximately 1.1 lbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
For the dough
  • 1 pack refrigerated biscuit dough

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Then mix in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Take the biscuit dough and flatten each piece. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each and fold the dough over to seal.
  6. Place the sealed balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

These bombs are great on their own or served with your favorite dipping sauces. To store leftovers, let them cool completely and place them in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge or freeze for up to three months.
