  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. Add chopped dill pickles to the bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, dill pickle juice, sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well combined.
  5. Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Best served cold. Pairs well with grilled meats, sandwiches, or tacos. For garnish, serve with fresh dill on top.
