Preparation
- Marinate the chicken strips in milk, salt, and pepper for 30–60 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
- Dip each chicken strip in the beaten eggs, then coat it in the flour mixture.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a pan to about 170–180°C (340–355°F).
- Fry the chicken strips for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy, or use an air fryer set at 180°C (350°F) for 15–18 minutes.
Making Dipping Sauces
- For Honey Mustard, mix honey, mustard, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
- For Garlic Parmesan, sauté minced garlic in butter, add heavy cream and parmesan cheese, and cook until slightly thick.
- For BBQ sauce, mix BBQ sauce with honey and paprika.
- For Spicy Mayo, combine mayonnaise, hot sauce, and lemon juice.
Notes
For extra crunch, double coat the chicken strips by dipping them in the egg and flour mixture twice. Ensure your oil is hot enough before frying to avoid greasy chicken strips. Experiment with different spices in the flour mixture for unique flavors.
