Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 12 oz 12 oz block-style cream cheese, room temperature Make sure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 3/4 cup 3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted Sifting avoids lumps.
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup 1 cup whipped topping (or heavy cream, whipped) Can substitute with heavy cream.
Cherry Layer
  • 1 can 1 can (about 20 oz) cherry pie filling Can substitute with other fruit fillings like blueberry or strawberry.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Slowly add the whole milk, mixing until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the whipped topping or whipped heavy cream until well combined.
Assembly
  1. In a serving dish or individual cups, layer the cream cheese mixture with cherry pie filling.
  2. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cherry pie filling on top.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled in individual dessert cups or a large bowl. Garnish each serving with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprig of mint. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; do not freeze.
