Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 tube (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 10–12 sticks mozzarella string cheese
  • 24 slices pepperoni
For brushing
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
For dipping
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into rectangles that are about the width of the cheese sticks.
  3. On each piece of dough, place a few slices of pepperoni and a cheese stick.
  4. Wrap the dough tightly around the cheese and pepperoni, making sure to pinch the seams closed so nothing leaks out.
Baking
  1. Place the wrapped breadsticks on a baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, then brush it over the warm breadsticks.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

If you have any leftovers, let the breadsticks cool completely before storing them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They should stay fresh for about 3-4 days. To reheat, pop them back into the oven for a few minutes until they’re warm and crispy again.
