  • 2 lbs cooked ham Choose a fully cooked ham.
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar For added flavor, consider adding cinnamon or nutmeg.
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard You can substitute with honey mustard or spicy brown mustard for variation.
  • 1 can pineapple slices Can also use crushed pineapple or omit if desired.
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice Pour into the bottom of the roasting pan.
  • Whole cloves Optional, for securing pineapple slices.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Place the cooked ham in a roasting pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar and Dijon mustard together until well combined.
  4. Spread the brown sugar mixture evenly over the surface of the ham.
  5. Arrange the pineapple slices on top of the ham, securing them with whole cloves if desired.
  6. Pour the pineapple juice into the bottom of the roasting pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting the ham occasionally with the juices from the pan.
  2. After baking, let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve sliced and warm, pairing with side dishes like mashed potatoes, green beans, or a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 5 days, or frozen for up to 2 months.
