Ingredients
  

For the Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef You can substitute with lentils or black beans for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Choose your favorite brand.
  • 1/2 cup water For thinning down the taco seasoning.
For Assembly
  • 4–6 small bags Flamin’ Hot or Crunchy Cheetos Choose based on desired spiciness.
  • 1–2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese Adjust based on taste.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Can use dairy-free if desired.
  • 1/2 cup diced onions Optional, can be omitted.
  • to taste Sliced jalapeños Optional for added spice.

Method
 

Prep the Taco Filling
  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain grease if needed.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
Prepare the Cheetos Bags
  1. Slightly crush the Cheetos in the bag (optional). Cut each bag open lengthwise down the middle to create a bowl.
Assemble the Taco Bags
  1. Spoon hot taco meat directly into each Cheetos bag.
  2. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, diced onions, and sliced jalapeños.
Serve
  1. Enjoy immediately while warm with a fork.

Notes

Best served fresh; do not store filled Cheetos bags as chips will get soggy. Leftover taco filling can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
