Cooking
- Cook the breakfast sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, crack the eggs, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your liking (scrambled, fried, or sunny side up).
- While the eggs are cooking, toast the waffles according to package instructions or until golden brown if homemade.
Assembly
- Assemble the sandwich by placing a sausage patty on a waffle, followed by the cooked egg, and top with a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Add another waffle on top to complete the sandwich.
- Serve warm.
Notes
