Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 small small lime, quartered
  • 10 leaves mint leaves For stronger flavor, add more leaves.
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of choice Options include honey, agave, or simple syrup.
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1 oz non-alcoholic rum (optional)
  • Ice
  • Slices of lime or extra mint for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the lime and your sweetener of choice into your glass. Muddle for about 1 minute to release the juice from the lime.
  2. Clap the mint in your hands a few times to release the scent. Place it in the glass and press gently with the muddler 2-3 times.
  3. If desired, add non-alcoholic rum.
  4. Top with sparkling water and ice. Stir well.
  5. Garnish with slices of lime or some extra mint if you like and serve.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, ideally on a sunny day with friends. Leftover Virgin Mojito can be stored in the fridge for a few hours but should be consumed quickly.
