Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter until melted. Allow to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the cooled milk mixture and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate this dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
