Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough into three large circles.
Layering
- Place one circle on a pizza stone or baking sheet and spread a layer of tomato sauce on top.
- Add a layer of mozzarella cheese and your choice of toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, olives).
- Place the second dough circle over the toppings and repeat the sauce, cheese, and toppings layers.
- Top with the third dough circle.
- Brush the top layer with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
For a crispier crust, try pre-baking each dough layer for a few minutes before adding sauce and toppings. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and texture.
