Ingredients

For the tartar sauce
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay)
For the fish sticks
  • 1 pound cod fillets, cut into 1×3-inch sticks
  • 1 1/2 cups panko bread crumbs

Method

Preparation
  1. Combine mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, and seafood seasoning in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the fish sticks to the bowl and gently stir to coat them in the tartar sauce mixture.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  4. Place the panko bread crumbs on a plate. Coat each fish stick in the bread crumbs one at a time, making sure they are fully covered.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the coated fish sticks in a single layer in the basket of the air fryer, ensuring they do not touch each other.
  2. Cook for 12 minutes.
  3. Once done, remove the basket and let it rest for 1 minute before transferring the fish sticks to a paper towel-lined plate.
  4. Repeat with the remaining fish sticks.

Notes

These fish sticks are best served hot. Pair with extra tartar sauce for dipping and lemon wedges for a zesty touch.
