  • 250 g spaghetti
  • 450 g ground beef Can substitute with lean ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Can use different types of cheese for variation.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes to the skillet with the beef. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Stir in the cooked spaghetti until well combined.
  2. Reduce heat to low, and mix in the sour cream and cheese until melted and creamy.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the Taco Spaghetti cool down to room temperature. Place it in an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat by warming it in the microwave or on the stove, adding a splash of water or milk to maintain creaminess. For variations, consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra nutrition.
