Method
Cooking the Pasta
- Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Beef
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat and cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it into small pieces.
Combining Ingredients
- Add the taco seasoning and pour in the diced tomatoes with green chilies, including the liquid. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes to develop flavor.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until evenly combined with the beef and sauce.
- Stir in the cubed Velveeta cheese and pour in the milk. Continue stirring until the cheese melts into a smooth, creamy sauce.
- Cook for a few more minutes until everything is hot and fully coated.
Notes
For best results, stir continuously when melting cheese for a smooth texture. Don’t overcook the pasta before mixing. Add extra cheese for a richer flavor. Adjust spice level with jalapeños or chili flakes. Variations include topping with shredded cheddar, fresh cilantro, or sour cream.
