  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use other types of cheese.
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup milk Add more for creamier texture.
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions For topping and added flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and diced tomatoes; cook for 5 minutes.
  3. In a large pot, cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet with the beef mixture, then stir in milk and cheese.
  2. Cook until cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve hot, topped with chopped green onions.

Notes

Serve with toppings like sliced jalapeƱos, sour cream, or extra cheese. Can be enjoyed with a salad or tortilla chips for a complete meal. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to a month.
