Preparation
- Cook the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Add the taco seasoning and let it cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
- While the beef is cooking, cut the pizza dough into squares.
Assembly
- Take each square and add a small amount of taco beef, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, a sprinkle of Monterey Jack cheese, and a small spoonful of salsa in the center.
- Fold each square closed and pinch the edges to seal it well.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds or crushed tortilla chips on top if desired.
Cooking
- Place the prepared pockets on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Notes
Use pre-made pizza dough for a faster option. Feel free to add your favorite taco toppings inside the pockets like black beans, corn, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
