  • 1 can pineapple chunks (with liquid)
  • 1 bag frozen meatballs You can use homemade meatballs for a lighter option.
  • 1 diced bell pepper (green, red, and orange) Feel free to substitute with other vegetables like broccoli or snap peas.
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less.
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Cooked rice (for serving) Pairs well with the meatballs.

Preparation
  1. Place all ingredients in a crockpot and stir well.
  2. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, placing a scoop of cooked rice on each plate and topping with the meatballs and sauce.
  2. Add extra pineapple chunks or bell pepper for garnish if desired.
Storage
  1. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  2. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.

Notes

Stir the ingredients well in the crockpot to blend flavors. For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
