Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced Slice thinly against the grain for tenderness
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, snap peas) Feel free to add more veggies like broccoli, mushrooms, or spinach.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish Can be added on top when serving.

Method
 

Cooking Noodles
  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking Steak and Shrimp
  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
  2. Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Stir-Frying Vegetables
  1. Add garlic and mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce; stir to combine.
  2. Add the cooked lo mein noodles and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook for 1-2 more minutes until hot.
  4. Serve garnished with green onions.

Notes

Store any leftover lo mein in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat with a splash of water or soy sauce to reduce drying. Optional: Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for heat.
