Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the conchiglioni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and place them in the baking dish.
Baking
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Stuffed shells are best served warm. You can add a sprinkle of fresh parsley or extra grated Parmesan on top for presentation. Serve alongside a salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days or frozen before baking.
