Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine cooked beef, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the beef mixture.
Baking
- Spread 1 cup of pasta sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle with extra mozzarella, and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Stuffed Jumbo Pasta Shells can be served with a fresh green salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. For added flavor, sprinkle with fresh herbs like basil or parsley. To store leftovers, place in an airtight container; can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen before baking.
