Preparation
- In a large bowl, layer half of the cubed pound cake or ladyfingers at the bottom.
- Add half of the pudding or custard over the cake layers.
- Layer half of the sliced strawberries on top of the pudding.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the strawberries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Best consumed within 2-3 days for optimal freshness. Berries may make layers soggy over time. You can make it a day before serving if covered well.
