Ingredients
  

For the tea
  • 3 cups Cold Water
  • 2 cups Boiling Water
  • 1.5 cups Strawberry Simple Syrup Can use homemade or store-bought
  • 0.5 cup White Granulated Sugar Ensure it fully dissolves in boiling water
  • 5 regular Black Tea Bags Remove strings before steeping
  • to taste pieces Strawberry Slices Optional garnish
  • to taste cups Ice Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the boiling water and sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add all 5 tea bags to the boiling water and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Squeeze the water out of the tea bags and discard them.
  4. Add the strawberry syrup to the bowl and stir well.
  5. In a pitcher, combine the cold water with the tea mixture and stir well.
  6. Add ice to the pitcher and glasses if desired, then pour the tea into glasses.
  7. Garnish each glass with a strawberry slice if liked and enjoy.

Notes

Serve chilled with strawberry slices on the rim for a pretty touch. It stores well in the refrigerator for up to a week in an airtight container. Adjust sweetness to preference using more or less strawberry syrup.
