Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch to create the Sweet Ginger Sauce.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Cooking
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Incorporate the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli florets, and snap peas, stir-frying until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the Sweet Ginger Sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serving
- Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Slice the beef against the grain for tenderness. Do not overcrowd the pan while cooking the beef; it should brown nicely. Feel free to switch up the vegetables. Carrots, zucchini, or asparagus also work great! If you like it spicy, add some red pepper flakes or a splash of chili sauce to the Sweet Ginger Sauce.
