Ingredients
  

Meat Mixture
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
Gravy Ingredients
  • 2 medium Onions, sliced Caramelized for the gravy
  • 2 tablespoons Flour To thicken the gravy
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For cooking the patties and onions

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, and pepper. Shape the mixture into patties.
Cooking Patties
  1. In a skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are browned. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
Making Gravy
  1. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until they become caramelized.
  2. Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir to combine. Gradually add beef broth, stirring until the mixture thickens.
Finishing Touches
  1. Return the patties to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for 10 minutes. Serve the patties topped with gravy.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the delicious gravy. Add a side of green beans or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Garnish with fresh parsley for a touch of color.
