  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 16 oz cream cheese Softened for better mixing
  • 1 cup sugar Adjust based on taste preference
  • 2 lbs grapes (red or green) You can mix both for a colorful look
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans Optional for crunch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Optional for added flavor

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, blend the sour cream, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add grapes to the mixture and stir until well coated.
  3. If desired, fold in chopped pecans and vanilla extract.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

To store Southern Grape Salad, keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir gently before serving if it has been stored for a while. You can garnish with whole grapes or additional pecans for presentation.
