  • 1 cup shredded Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and sear them until golden brown on both sides (about 5 minutes each side).
Mixing and Baking
  1. In a bowl, mix sour cream, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Transfer the seared chicken breasts to a baking dish, then spread the sour cream mixture over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle shredded Jack cheese on top of the sour cream mixture.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  1. Garnish with chopped green onions and a dusting of paprika before serving.
