Preparation
- Place the frozen meatballs evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the tortellini on top of the meatballs, spreading them evenly.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the tortellini and meatballs, making sure everything is well coated.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for about 4 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Serve the casserole hot and enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness.
Notes
Use a good-quality marinara sauce for the best flavor. Be sure not to overcook the tortellini. Cooking on low heat keeps the pasta tender without becoming too soft. Customize with additional vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
