Ingredients

For the latte base
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso
For serving
  • Whipped cream Optional
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a slow cooker, combine the whole milk, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Stir everything together until well mixed.
Cooking
  1. Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  2. Once the mixture is hot and well combined, add the strong brewed coffee or espresso and stir it in thoroughly.
  3. Taste the latte and adjust the sweetness or pumpkin spice according to your preference.
Serving
  1. Pour the Pumpkin Spice Latte into mugs and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.

Notes

Make sure to stir the mixture occasionally while it cooks to avoid any sticking at the bottom. Adjust the level of spices and sweetness according to your taste. For a dairy-free option, you can substitute almond milk and coconut cream for the whole milk and heavy cream.
