  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 cans sloppy joe mix
  • 1.5 jars nacho cheese
  • 1 bag tater tot rounds
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the sloppy joe mix and let it simmer for a few minutes. Then, set aside.
  3. Preheat your oven to 450°F and roast the tater tots on a sheet pan for 15 minutes or until they are crispy.
Assembly
  1. In a 9x13 dish, layer the crispy tater tots evenly on the bottom.
  2. Smother the tater tots with the beef mixture.
  3. Swirl the nacho cheese on top of the beef layer.
  4. Finish by sprinkling the shredded cheddar cheese over everything.
Baking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F until bubbly, about 20-25 minutes.
  2. For a nice cheesy crust, do a quick broil for 2-3 minutes at the end. Watch it closely!

Notes
