Ingredients
  

For the patties
  • 1 lb Ground beef Use fresh ground beef for the best flavor.
  • slices Cheese slices Experiment with different cheese types like cheddar or Swiss.
  • 4 pieces Burger buns Toast them for extra flavor.
Toppings
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 1 slice Tomato Cut into slices.
  • 1 slice Onion Cut into slices.
  • 4 slices Pickles
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Form ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached.
  2. In the last minute of cooking, place cheese slices on top of the patties to melt.
  3. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patty on the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
  2. Add the top bun and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve hot off the grill with a side of fries or salad. You can add your favorite sauces like ketchup, mustard, or mayo. If leftovers exist, store cooked patties in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze them wrapped well to prevent freezer burn.
