  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti Cook according to package instructions
  • 4 tbsp butter Unsalted, for sautéing
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine Can be replaced with broth if desired
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes Adjust based on spice preference
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped Divided for topping and mixing
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For topping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese More cheese can be added if desired
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the linguine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, add red pepper flakes, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Stir in the cooked linguine and half of the parsley.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  8. Top with breadcrumbs and mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with remaining parsley and serve.

Notes

Serve hot, pairs well with a simple green salad or garlic bread. To store leftovers, cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for about 2 months.
