  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Can be substituted with other cheeses like gouda or pepper jack.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) Omit for a milder flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the marinara sauce and stir to combine.
  5. Transfer the shrimp mixture to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Shrimp Salvatore is best served hot. Pair it with garlic bread or a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
