Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups Cranberry juice Use fresh if possible for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Orange juice Freshly squeezed is preferable.
  • 1 cup Lemonade Adjust sweetness by varying the amount.
  • 2 cups Ginger ale Add just before serving to maintain fizz.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the cranberry juice, orange juice, and lemonade.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  3. Just before serving, add the ginger ale to give it a fizzy effect.
Serving
  1. Serve the Scarlet Sipper in tall glasses with ice.
  2. Garnish each glass with a slice of orange or a few fresh cranberries for an extra touch.

Notes

Best enjoyed cold, and can be made in advance, just add ginger ale before serving to retain bubbles. For variations, you can add fruits like strawberries or raspberries, or use sparkling water instead of ginger ale.
