Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a large rectangular baking dish thoroughly with butter or cooking spray.
Create the Biscuit Base
- Open the can of jumbo biscuits and separate them. Flatten each biscuit round and press them together at the bottom of the baking dish to create a solid crust layer.
Add First Cheese and Sausage Layers
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the biscuit base.
- Scatter the chopped cocktail sausages evenly across the cheese layer.
Add Second Cheese Layer
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the sausage layer.
Top with Crescent Dough
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and stretch it across the top, pressing the edges down to seal.
Bake the Dish
- Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Rest and Serve
- Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
