Ingredients
  

Biscuit Base
  • 1 can 16.3 oz jumbo biscuits These form the sturdy base for the bake.
  • 1 can 8 oz crescent roll dough Unrolled and stretched across the top.
Filling
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Divided between two layers.
  • 14 oz cocktail sausages, chopped Cut into coin shapes for maximum meat in every bite.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a large rectangular baking dish thoroughly with butter or cooking spray.
Create the Biscuit Base
  1. Open the can of jumbo biscuits and separate them. Flatten each biscuit round and press them together at the bottom of the baking dish to create a solid crust layer.
Add First Cheese and Sausage Layers
  1. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the biscuit base.
  2. Scatter the chopped cocktail sausages evenly across the cheese layer.
Add Second Cheese Layer
  1. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the sausage layer.
Top with Crescent Dough
  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and stretch it across the top, pressing the edges down to seal.
Bake the Dish
  1. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Rest and Serve
  1. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
