Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 bag McCain frozen oven chips
  • 1 bag frozen hash brown bites
  • 1 green pepper Cut into uniform sizes
  • 1 red pepper Cut into uniform sizes
  • 1 medium red onion Cut into uniform sizes
  • 1 medium green onion
  • 1 green jalapeno
  • to taste Salt & Pepper seasoning
  • to taste Cooking spray Helps to keep the chips crispy

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 160°C.
  2. While the air fryer is preheating, slice the peppers and onions.
Cooking the Chips
  1. Cook the chips in the air fryer for 15 minutes.
  2. In a frying pan, soften the sliced peppers and onions with salt and pepper seasoning.
  3. After 15 minutes, add the softened peppers and onions to the fryer.
  4. Spray a little cooking spray over the chips and toss everything together.
  5. Continue to air fry for an additional 7 minutes.
  6. For extra crispiness, air fry on max crisp setting for 2 more minutes.

Notes

Serve hot with dipping sauces like ketchup or ranch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven for crispiness. Experiment with different types of peppers for varied flavors.
