Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces yellow crookneck squash
  • 1 packet spicy ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the yellow squash into slices or cubes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the squash with the spicy ranch seasoning, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  4. Spread the seasoned squash on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the squash is tender and slightly browned.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
Serving
  1. Serve warm.

Notes

Make sure to cut the squash into uniform sizes for even cooking. Adjust the amount of ranch seasoning based on your spice preference. For extra crunch, you can add some breadcrumbs along with the Parmesan cheese before the final roasting phase. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
