  • 1.5 cups 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup 1 cup butter, softened Make sure the butter is softened but not melted.
  • 1 cup 1 cup brown sugar Packed.
  • 0.5 cup 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large 2 large eggs
Mix-ins
  • 2 cups 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup 1 cup chocolate chips Use dark or white chocolate chips for variety.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Let cool before serving.
