  • 1 box white cake mix Follow package instructions.
  • 3 large eggs Room temperature.
  • 1 cup water As per cake mix instructions.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk For creating colored mixtures.
  • 1 cup whipped topping For the top layer.
  • 1 cup strawberries (sliced) Fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 cup blueberries Fresh for color contrast.
  • 2 drops food coloring (red and blue) Adjust for desired color intensity.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9 x 13 inch pan according to the package instructions for the cake mix.
  2. In a bowl, mix the white cake mix, eggs, and water until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for the time indicated on the cake mix box.
  3. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  4. Poke holes in the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
  5. In another bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with food coloring (red and blue) to create a red and blue mixture.
  6. Pour the colored mixtures over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  7. Refrigerate the cake until fully chilled, about 2 hours.
Finishing Touches
  1. Spread whipped topping over the top of the cake.
  2. Decorate with sliced strawberries and blueberries.
  3. Serve cold and enjoy your festive dessert!

Notes

Make sure the cake is completely cooled before poking holes in it; otherwise, it may break apart. Use fresh fruit for best taste and appearance. Adjust the food coloring to achieve the desired shades.
