  • 1 package Sugar cookie dough or peanut butter cookie dough Use your favorite cookie dough type.
  • 1 cup Red, white, and blue M&M’s Use festive colors for celebrations.
  • 1 cup White chocolate chips Alternatively, you can use milk or dark chocolate chips.
  • 1/2 cup Sprinkles For added decoration and fun.
  • 1/2 cup Oats Optional for classic monster cookie texture.
  • 1/2 cup Mini marshmallows Optional for extra sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the cookie dough package directions.
  2. Add the cookie dough to a bowl, then mix in the red, white, and blue M&M’s, white chocolate chips, sprinkles, and oats if desired.
  3. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  4. Add a few extra M&M’s and sprinkles on top for decoration.
Baking
  1. Bake until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges but still soft in the center, about 10 minutes.
Cooling
  1. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve on a colorful plate or a festive tray. Pair with milk or ice cream. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Add a slice of bread in the container to keep them moist.
