Cooking Ground Beef
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Preparing Tortillas
- Heat the flour tortillas on a flat pan for a few seconds on each side until warm.
Assembling Quesarito
- Place one tortilla on a plate and sprinkle a cup of shredded cheese in the center.
- Add half of the cooked ground beef on top of the cheese.
- Place the second tortilla on top of the beef and cheese.
Toasting Quesarito
- Carefully flip the quesadilla to toast the other side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove from heat, cut into wedges, and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For extra flavor, season your ground beef with taco seasoning. Experiment with different types of cheese for a unique taste. Make sure your skillet is hot enough to get a nice golden-brown crust on the quesadilla. If you have leftovers, place them in an airtight container and store them in the fridge for about 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
