  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure the butter is fully melted for easy mixing.
For the pumpkin layer
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree Use fresh pumpkin puree for better flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, large egg, and melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Baking
