Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 600 g potatoes Cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 40 g grated parmesan cheese For garlic parmesan wedges
  • Salt To taste
  • Black pepper To taste
  • 1 tbsp paprika For spicy paprika wedges
  • 1 tsp chili powder For spicy paprika wedges
  • 1 Juice of 1 lemon For lemon herb wedges
  • 1 tsp oregano For lemon herb wedges
  • 1 tbsp parsley For lemon herb wedges
  • 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese For cheesy wedges

Method
 

Garlic Parmesan Wedges
  1. Start by cutting the potatoes into wedges.
  2. Toss them with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the wedges on a baking tray.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 30–35 minutes.
  5. After that, sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes until golden.
Spicy Paprika Wedges
  1. Toss the potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the seasoned wedges evenly on a baking tray.
  3. Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 35 minutes, or until crispy.
Lemon Herb Wedges
  1. Mix the potatoes with olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the mixture on a baking tray.
  3. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 30–35 minutes.
Cheesy Wedges
  1. Bake the potato wedges with olive oil and your choice of seasoning for 30 minutes.
  2. After 30 minutes, add shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  3. Bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Make sure the wedges are cut evenly so they cook at the same rate. Don’t overcrowd the baking tray to help them get crispy. Experiment with other spices like Italian seasoning or garlic powder for different flavors.
