  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 40 g parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • to taste Salt & black pepper
Creamy Mashed Potatoes
  • 800 g potatoes for Creamy Mashed Potatoes
  • 80 ml milk
  • 40 g butter
  • to taste Salt & black pepper
Potato Salad
  • 700 g potatoes for Potato Salad
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 2 pieces hard-boiled eggs
  • 50 g onion
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • to taste Salt & black pepper
Spicy Roasted Potatoes
  • 800 g potatoes for Spicy Roasted Potatoes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips.
  2. Rinse the cut potatoes in water and dry them thoroughly.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan until hot (170-180°C).
  2. Fry the potatoes in the hot oil until they are golden brown, which should take about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain the fries on paper towels and season with salt.
Serving
  1. Serve with ketchup, mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce.
  2. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  3. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.

Notes

Use starchy potatoes for best results. Dry the potatoes well to avoid splattering oil. Fry in small batches to keep oil temperature high.
