  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (13–16 oz) or 1 ball fresh pizza dough (450 g)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast (21⁄4 tsp)
Filling and seasoning
  • Cheese (such as mozzarella) Can substitute with cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack.
  • Pizza sauce For dipping.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For brushing and enhancing flavor.
  • Italian seasoning To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. If using refrigerated dough, roll it out on a floured surface. If using fresh dough, knead it with flour until it's manageable.
  3. Spread the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add cheese evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly to create a log shape and cut into sticks.
  6. Place the sticks onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.

Notes

These breadsticks taste best warm and can be served with various dipping sauces like marinara, ranch, or garlic butter. For optimal texture, brush the top with olive oil before baking.
