Ingredients
  

For the Smoothie
  • 4 cups Ice
  • 2 cups Fresh Pineapple, chopped Ensure the pineapple is ripe and sweet.
  • 1 cup Water Add more as needed for desired consistency.
  • 1/4 cup Sugar Adjust based on the sweetness of the pineapple.
  • to taste Pineapple Leaves, optional garnish Use for garnishing the smoothie.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel, core, and chop the pineapple into chunks. Measure out 2 cups for the smoothie and save a few wedges and leaves for garnish.
Blending
  1. In a blender, combine the ice, chopped pineapple, water, and sugar. Blend on high speed until completely smooth.
  2. If the smoothie is too thick, add more water to reach desired consistency; if too thin, add more ice and blend again.
Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if necessary. Blend again briefly to combine.
Serving
  1. Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish each with a pineapple leaf and wedge if using.

Notes

Serve cold for best taste. Chill glasses before serving. For a creamier smoothie, add yogurt or coconut milk. Consider adding banana or spinach for a tropical twist.
