Ingredients
  

For the pastry
  • 1 package Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the strawberries, blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
  3. Separate each biscuit and flatten it out on a floured surface.
  4. Place a spoonful of the berry mixture in the center of each biscuit.
  5. Fold the biscuit over the filling to create a pocket and seal the edges.
  6. Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Make sure to seal the edges of the biscuits well to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking. Experiment with different fruits, such as raspberries or peaches, for variations. Use parchment paper to avoid sticking and make cleanup easier.
