Ingredients
  

For the sliders
  • 8 pieces Slider buns
  • 1 pound Thinly sliced ribeye steak Freezing for about 30 minutes makes it easier to slice thinly.
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 slices Cheese (provolone or American) Mixing cheese types can add flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For sautéing and brushing.
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic powder) Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and green peppers, cooking until soft.
  3. Add the sliced steak to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until the steak is browned.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the cooked steak and vegetable mixture on the buns, then top with slices of cheese.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns on and brush with melted butter.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Serve Philly Cheesesteak Sliders hot and fresh from the oven with optional dipping sauces like ketchup, barbecue sauce, or spicy mayo.
Storage
  1. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days.
  2. To reheat, place them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or until warmed through.

Notes

You can customize sliders with mushrooms or hot peppers. For vegetarian options, use mushrooms and extra veggies with dairy-free cheese.
